Hello, Up for bid is a Hydraulic Flat Tappet Cam for an originally equip pre-1996 Big Block Chevy. This is a regrind cam good for street/strip, and mild bracket racing. If you are not familiar with the regrind process, you could think of it as coping a key. You have your master template which provides the lobe profile for the slave product. The regrind is done by a company that has been serving many speed shops in my area for years, and will have no runs. The Cam has very quick throttle response, and will provide a rough idle with excellent mid and top-end performance. The specs. and applications are the equivalent to a Comp XE 284:: Grind Number# HYD-284-CSB Valve Setting: IN./Hyd. EX./Hyd. RPM Operating Range: 2300 to 6500 Duration: Advertised IN./284 EX./296 @.050" IN./240 EX./246 Valve Lift: W/1.7 Rocker: IN./.574 EX./.578 Lobe Sep.
