This is probably the most popular distributor sold for the big or small block V8 engines. This is the famous Unilite with photo optic ignition triggering. Nice small diameter unit so it fits in tight places like behind a blower/ supercharger, tunnel ram or a close firewall. It fits all standard deck big or small blocks. NOTE: does not fit the 348/ 409 or tall deck B/B Chevy engines. You'll get many miles of trouble free driving with accurate, maintenance-free ignition timing. Instead of old-fashioned points systems, it has a photo-optic LED triggering system that never varies or wears out. You get increased rpm potential, improved combustion, longer spark plug life, and better cold-weather starting. Hooking one up is a simple 3-wire connection and the wire harness is included. This distributor has the adjustable mechanical advance mechanism. It is a self-lubricating bushings, and a Super Duty cap and rotor. Requires an external coil and ballast resistor.
